Campiano in the Valpolicella Doc zone

In 1987, after a research trip to Burgundy we discovered a hill in Campiano where the clayey-calcareous soil was comparable to the finest French Grand Crus. The idea of a high-altitude vineyard, the excellent exposure to the sun, the constant breeze, were an invitation for us to embark on cutting-edge methods of cultivation.
We were among the first in Italy to set up a high density vineyard (12,000 plants/hectare) with low yields per plant.

We also grow the international varieties here: Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir.
For years we have been paving the way for the great red wines of the Veronese tradition, Valpolicella and Amarone, which we will soon be bottling.
